New Construction + Remodel
What’s Included?
We provide expert design guidance throughout your remodeling process. Our hourly services may include:
- Full interior specification assistance from start to finish
- Floor plan reviews and space planning
- Finish selections (tile, countertops, flooring, paint, etc.)
- Lighting plans and fixture sourcing
- Cabinetry layouts and elevations
- Hardware and plumbing fixture recommendations
- Design consultation meetings (in person or virtual)
- Collaboration with your contractor or subcontractors
Hourly Rate & Billing Info
- Design services are billed at a set hourly rate.
- A deposit will be required that is applied to the last design invoice.
- Invoices are sent monthly with a detailed time log provided.
Our Process
Discovery Consultation:
We begin with a meeting or phone call to understand your goals, timeline, lifestyle, and inspiration. We’ll discuss your project scope, budget, preferences, and collect measurements of any existing spaces.
Following this initial meeting, we’ll provide an estimate of our services based on the scope of the project and clients needs. If the estimate is approved, clients will be sent an online survey to further define functional needs, aesthetic goals, and budget expectations.
Design Phase:
This is where the vision takes shape. We’ll create detailed design plans for each space, including:
- Space planning
- Material + finish selections
- Fixture, lighting & appliance specifications
- Color palettes
- Millwork + cabinetry details
- Tile layouts + flooring
- Furniture and styling (if needed)
A design presentation will be scheduled to review the proposed plans and selections and get client’s feedback and approval.
Project Management:
We provide design plans and all selections into a clear, easy-to-follow packet for your contractor and trades to follow.
We provide ongoing support during the construction or remodel process, including:
- Reviewing the project with prospective contractors for bidding purposes
- Answering contractor questions
- Reviewing submittals
- On-site walkthroughs (as needed)
- Adjusting designs if needed due to site conditions or availability
Installation:
- Once construction is complete, we’re available to help with furnishings, art, and styling if desired, to bring the whole space together beautifully.
- Clients receive cleaning and care instructions for all interior elements
- A project portfolio photoshoot will be scheduled
